Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

An outstanding restaurant experience. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and inventive. The service is professional while being warm. Highly recommend for special occasions. My family and I were treated so well from the moment we entered. Literally every employee with whom I interacted wished me a happy birthday. When my husband made the reservation he specified that I had a momentous birthday we were celebrating, and the restaurant staff found a personal gift to match my passion (books) waiting on our table. I also received a signed card, a special menu, and a complimentary sashimi appetizer. I want to specifically compliment our server Tony, who is a consummate professional. He directed our meal like a skilled air traffic controller. He sped up and slowed down deliveries of dishes based upon our tableβs readiness, made astute recommendations, and was attuned to when or if we needed him. There are more expensive restaurants in Charlotte but I think none are as well-managed and staffed than this one.

O-Ku Charlotte was a beautiful spot for a birthday celebration. We had a group of 7 and overall had a really fun experience. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and both the cocktails and no tails were great. The atmosphere and ambiance made the night feel special. The only downside was that the waitstaff mixed up our order a couple of times, but they were kind and did their best to fix it. Even with that, we still enjoyed the experience and would come back again.

A little trip to Charlotte. We haven't had sushi in a couple years so he made reservations at O-Ku. It has a separate gluten-free menu and they are extremely knowledgeable and careful about cross contamination. The food and service was excellent, our server was Alex. My son ordered from the hot kitchen menu area and there was a delay in his food reaching the table with the other 3 orders. Management brought out Edamame and duck buns for his wait. Hubby and son highly recommends the Wagyu Nigiri. π£ Tempura vegetables π£ A5 Wagyu nigiri (reg & GF) π£ GF Scottish belly nigiri π£ Duck buns π£ Edamame π£ Negitoro maki π£ Salmon avocado maki π£ Avocado wrapped roll π£ Tempura vegetable roll π£ Cucumber maki π£ Avocado maki π£ Potato roll π£ Red Dragon π£ Lobster & Wild Mushroom Teppanyaki π· Drinks- Cherry-Yuzu Soda & Des Tea Nation & Imagine Dragon

We went for sushi happy hour. The rolls were good, but a bit salty. The decor is pretty and itβs always crowded whenever Iβve gone here. The servers are great. The miso banana cake is so yummy!
